Peeing in the pool seems like common practice as I counted only 3 out of 100 people actually using the bathroom by the bar. After a few beers I did not mind swimming by the water falls, but I never dunked my head under. My buddy is a pool guy and said, 'if you can smell the chemicals out of the pool that is a big problem.' You can smell it everywhere and the water looked really bad. Pool: Okay, here is where the 'grose' begins. If not you have to do the 'walk of shame' through the casino to get to the pool and beach area. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE BEACH TOWER, it is really close to the pool and food court. No microwave or refrigerator, I kind of expected that though. Seriously, opening the drains and cleaning the pipes may take a few minutes. Room: The bathroom needed to be looked at as the drains were clogged. We were checked in quickly at around 12:30 p.m., but the employees are the desk did not seem to happy.
Check in: I read that the check in employees are not too friendly and I have to agree.
Parking: Regular parking garage with plenty of spots, the registration desk is a short walk from the garage, no problems here.
I'll be brief because like you, I read hundreds of these reviews prior to deciding to book at Avi. My husband and I ventured to the Avi from Las Vegas on a Sunday in July.
